An established Course set in the beautiful Noosa hinterland, Cooroy is renown for having some of the best greens on the Sunshine Coast circuit.
Be careful though, the friendly, relaxed atmosphere could lull you into not treating the course with the respect experience has shown it deserves.
A great place for a relaxed stroll on a typically sunny sunshine holiday.

Golf World International Expose

In a nutshell: This is not a long course but it is compact. During play, course management is more important than long distance shooting.

Classic hole: The 6th is a 176m downhill par three. You hit over a creek that winds through the entire course. The difficulty is in club selection and gauging distance over the creek.

What not to do: Wear a hat in the bar. You will have to shout everyone in the house.

When to go there: Avoid Saturdays, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. All other times are generally available and no bookings are needed.

And another thing: This is platypus country. There are platypus in the creek, around town, even on the letterhead.
